Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
